I've used the creation kit before but I think this is my first time switching to the SE version, and I know last time I did that through the Bethesda launcher but see theres a steam version now. So I installed it, did my ini edits, verified files, made sure everything was in the same folder and STILL it's crashing on launch and I have no idea what to try next.

All result in the creation kit starting, the window appearing, then immediately shutting down. Like.... what else can I do that doesn't involve having to back up vortex so I can unistall it and try and run it mod free. Cause that would completely defeat the purpose of trying to mod my game if I have to stop using a perfectly good mod manager.

Bethesda has created ten video tutorials which demonstrate how to use the Creation Kit. It first starts with how the Creation Kit is installed. Then it takes the viewer along the creation of a dungeon to cover the most important aspects of making an interior space in the Creation Kit. In the final video it is shown how the interior space can be connected to the exterior world.

Last week, Valve announced that creators of game mods would be able to sell their creations on its Steam service. It didn't expect the huge backlash, from players and modders alike. On Monday, it pulled down the feature entirely.

This is the free Anniversary Edition upgrade you get when you update Skyrim via Steam. Note that it's still called Skyrim Special Edition, consider it "Anniversary Edition light".

This version includes four creations for free:

This is the paid (full) upgrade bought via Steam. It contains the rest of the creations released until today.

Note that not every item added will have a display in the museum (Hall of Wonders or other gallerys), the pages will be added/edited when the patches are done.

As part of the new program, anyone now has the opportunity to list their creations--mods, items, or maps--at whatever price they want (they can even change prices after release), or they can offer them for free just like before. And per the terms of Valve's user agreement, anyone not satisfied with their purchase can get a full refund, provided they file their refund request within 24 hours.

Up until today, the Steam Workshop allowed fans to tinker with compatible games and upload their creations, additions, and updates for the sake of free downloads. What changed today is that those creators can now, after filling out a "tax interview" and providing a bank account that accepts US dollars, charge users whatever price they please for their new levels, their visual overhauls, and their flaming swords. A creator can still leave their wares on the service as freebies, or they can choose either a static price or a "pay what you want" structure. Should a buyer not be satisfied with a mod, they can request a refund within 24 hours of purchase. be457b7860
