For this project I was Lead Programmer, developing the core game mechanics, UI, post-processing, and bosses, among others.
This game was made for the Game Development 1 Course at RPI using Unreal Engine 5 in under a month and a half.
Environmental Invasion is a top-down tower defense game where you have to fend off the incoming toxic jungle using only your turrets and limited oil supply. Each round, the creatures of the jungle become more dangerous. When a creature enters your territory, the soil beneath becomes corrupted, eventually preventing you from placing turrets. Fight back by killing off the invading swarm and, when secure, placing Soil Purifiers to return corrupted soil back to its natural state. When all tiles are purified, you win the game!
