Information on me:
Born in McMinnville, TN, Kevin received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Environmental Science and Technology and Aerospace from Middle Tennessee State University and his Master of Science in Environmental Health from East Tennessee State University. Kevin retired as a U.S Public Health Service Commissioned Officer (Captain - 06) with 30 years of service in 2010. The U.S. Public Health Service is one of the seven uniformed services of the United States. He was instrumental in creating and building the Emergency Management Program for the Indian Health Service and responded to numerous disasters during his career. He served many times as a field responder and also developed numerous national level policies relating to emergency management and physical security. Upon his retirement he was the acting Emergency Management Director and Physical Security Director for the Indian Health Service and the Senior Physical Security Specialist Inspector. Kevin became interested in Amateur Radio as an enhancement to his emergency services activities and became licensed in 1999. He directs an Emergency Management, Physical Security and Environmental Services consulting business and is a Part 107 Remote Pilot. He was previously a consulting Instructor at the Department of Homeland Security Center for Domestic Preparedness. In July of 2017 Kevin was appointed as the Emergency Coordinator for the Rutherford County Tennessee Amateur Radio Emergency Services program.
