Empire at War
Big news for November – We are including prize support for the campaign! Every game you play and submit will give you an entry into a draw for 1 of 3 kits that will be given out at the completion of the campaign. A new field will be entered on the submission form – you just need to include your email address if you want to enter the draw – make sure it is one you use, because this is how we will contact you at the end of the season to claim your prize. For anyone living in Calgary, your prize will be available for pickup, and anyone living outside of the Calgary area, shipping can be arranged.

A pernicious evil is growing in the empire of humanity. The dark specter of chaos turns friend against friend and paranoia is the law of the land. Since the death of the emperor, petty kings and queens take power into their own hands, fragmenting the once mighty nation. In the wake of this political turmoil, the forces of chaos, death and destruction flood into the dark places and menace humanity from all fronts. It is a time of fear, and every sword will be needed before this era of war comes to an end.
This is a narrative global campaign, where the results of fantasy wargames push forward a larger shared story. To participate, you must do the following:
Play a game
Submit the results of that game
This campaign does NOT need to be played using Warhammer Fantasy Battles or The Old World. YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN THIS CAMPAIGN USING ANY FANTASY SYSTEM OR FACTION. Just pick a side and report your battles and adventures in the "Submit a Result" tab in the menu. You are free to play any game you want, including but not limited to the following: One Page Rules, Mordheim, Hobgoblin, Age of Sigmar, The Old World, Sword Weirdos, Necropolis, Forbidden Psalm, Frostgrave, WHFB, MESBG, Dungeons and Dragons, Mork Borg. Any game in any fantasy setting works fine.
You may notice that you can also play RPGs as part of this campaign - just describe your session in the game submission and explain how your game pushed the narrative of the campaign forward!

Represent The Forces of Order – The remnants of the old way and the seekers of the new path, The Forces of Order band together to preserve the realm and the world from the forces of evil and the depravity they bring.
Represent The Forces of Chaos – Bring the grand armies of evil, mutation, and violence to the ordered lands of humanity. Crush their feeble resistance under your boot and take power for your own!
Represent The Forces of Destruction – Take what you can, kill whoever stands in your way.
Represent The Forces of Death - The more that die in battle, the more that rise again.
Each month the results of all of the battles will be calculated and taken into account, and the map will be updated to show the progression of war and influence. Your submitted battle reports and pictures will be displayed so that others can follow along with the major battles and stories of the campaign.
This campaign will conclude with an epic final battle at Dungeon Fest 2025 in Calgary, Alberta!
