As a proud, professed, and active member of the Holy Name Society and a member of Holy Pittsburgh Diocesan Union of the Holy Name Society board, I currently serve as the vice-president, having previously held the role of president. The Holy Name Society is a confraternity within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, dedicated to promoting reverence for the Holy Name of Jesus Christ and nurturing the spiritual development of its members. I am deeply committed to its mission of fostering reverence, faithfulness, and holiness within the Catholic Church.
About the Holy Name Society
The Holy Name Society is a confraternity devoted to:
Promoting reverence for the Sacred Names of God and Jesus Christ
Fostering obedience and loyalty to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church
Encouraging personal sanctification and the pursuit of holiness among its members
Active service and spiritual devotion, especially through the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy:
Through monthly meetings, parish involvement, and charitable service, members of the Holy Name Society strive to live out their Catholic faith in action. Our mission is grounded in humility, devotion, and a sincere desire to bring others to Christ by word, witness, and example.
It is a privilege to serve in leadership within such a faithful and dynamic apostolate, one which operates closely with pastors and diocesan leadership, forming an integral part of the Church’s lay ministry. Through its mission and works, it strengthens the spiritual fabric of parishes throughout the diocese making a meaningful difference in parishes and communities across the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
This faithful and fraternal organization continues to be a cornerstone of Catholic lay involvement, and I am honored to contribute to its mission through leadership and service.
