Welcome to the RUSLE2 Training website. This website is designed to help you prepare for the best training experience possible and will serve as a resource after your training course is complete.
IMPORTANT - What to complete before the training event on August 1:
Download and install RUSLE2.
Download the RUSLE2 training database.
Please watch all the RUSLE2 Background videos below.
Reference the RUSLE2 handbook. If you have time, the handbook is an excellent resource, and we highly recommend that you go through as much of the handbook as possible before training. It will provide you with a better understanding of RUSLE2.
The videos and handbook will be referenced during the in-person portion of the training.

If you do not currently have RUSLE2 on your computer you MUST download the RUSLE2 Program File from the RUSLE2 Website and install it following the provided Installation Instructions.
DO NOT worry about getting your database running yet. I will provide a RUSLE2 database for the training below.

Download the RUSLE2 Training Database using the Download link. Save the file in the USDA/RUSLE2/NRCS folder.
No further action is needed. We will set up RUSLE2 with this database during the training.
The database contains the soils, climates and managements will we use during the training.
