This Privacy Policy explains how RushShort (“we”, “us”, or “the app”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the RushShort mobile application and related services.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect the following categories of information:

Account and sign-in information: guest account identifiers; email address, provider user ID, display name, profile image, and authentication information received when you sign in with Google or Apple.

Viewing and app activity: watch history, playback progress, saved library items, likes, searches, drama and episode interactions, unlocked content, coin balance, purchases, check-ins, missions, and support or content reports.

Device and technical information: device model, operating system, app version, language or locale, IP address, network information, diagnostic information, and security signals used to protect the service and prevent abuse.

Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging registration token and notification preferences when push notifications are enabled.

Analytics and advertising information: app events, approximate usage information, advertising identifier, ad interactions, and related diagnostics, subject to applicable consent choices and the availability of advertising features.

Purchase information: Google Play product, purchase token, transaction status, and related billing information needed to grant coins or unlocks. Google Play processes payment card and other payment details; RushShort does not receive your full payment card number.

We do not request access to contacts, precise location, microphone, camera, SMS, or phone call history.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

create and manage guest or signed-in accounts;

provide video playback, subtitles, recommendations, search, library, watch history, and progress synchronization;

process coins, episode unlocks, purchases, rewards, check-ins, and missions;

send requested push notifications and service messages;

measure app performance, understand feature usage, improve the service, and provide support;

detect fraud, abuse, security threats, and unauthorized access; and

comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as needed with:

Service providers that host, secure, authenticate, analyze, deliver notifications, serve or measure ads, and support the app;

Google services, including Google Sign-In, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Mobile Ads, Google Play Billing, and Google Play Integrity, where those services are enabled or used; and

Authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or protect the service.

Service providers may process information on our behalf and are expected to protect it and use it only for the services they provide.

4. Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain account history, provide support, prevent fraud, complete transactions, and meet legal or accounting requirements. When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize associated personal data from our active systems within 30 days, unless retention is required by law, needed to resolve disputes, or necessary to prevent fraud. Backups may remain for a limited period before being securely overwritten.

You can request account deletion from the account controls in the app, where available, or by emailing rushshort-support@gmail.com. Please include the email address or account details needed to identify your account. Deleting an account may permanently remove coins, watch history, saved titles, progress, and unlocked content, and completed Google Play purchases are handled under Google Play’s applicable refund policies.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network transport, access controls, request authentication, application integrity checks, and security monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s privacy

RushShort is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

7. Your choices

You may use the app as a guest, sign in or sign out, manage notification preferences, control available advertising consent choices, and request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You may also manage app permissions through your Android device settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, our services, or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice in the app or through other appropriate channels when changes are material.
