Just wondering if anyone has a zip or a folder filled with all the instrument and vocal samples in Sonic Rush ripped directly from the game. No I don't want the Ultimate Hideki Naganuma Sega Pack I'm talking about the raw stuff, preferably in wav or mp3 format. And on that note does anyone have the same for rush adventure or colors ds? I'm really in the mood for some mean remixes so anything helps! :)
Hi guys, anybody know how to see/remove hidden midi cc data in Ableton? I have a VST plugin where I was able to remove the midi data in the VST (Spitfire Audio labs), however on another VST (Digits) I couldn't remove it. The issue i have on the midi track is a change in the volume gain I must've recorded with my midi keyboard. I can't seem to be able overdub it or manually change the gain whatsoever, also the automation shows absolutely no volume change, although there 100% is one. Thanks in advance for any help guys!

I noticed that the AudioProcessorGraph::AudioGraphIOProcessor namespace already has a midiOutputNode class, so I made a simple modification to the "audio plugin host" to add the functionality... but it doesn't work! No crashes or anything, I'm just not getting MIDI output on the channel I have slected.
After building and starting the plugin host you should now have a MIDI output. Draw a connection between midi input and midi output. If you have selected a midiout device in the audiosettings (e.g Microsft GS Wavetable Synth in windows) you should now here a piano when playing on the midikeyboard (or see the MIDI Out LED blink if you selected a physical MIDI interface).
There are many posts on this here. Basically, you cannot send just MIDI unless you have an audio input. ProcessBlock() will not be called unless you do. At that point, the numberOfSamples will be correct and you can use processBlock to fill the midiBuffer. Check out the Arpeggiator Tutorial, but remember that it is wrong and to make it work you have to add an audio input.
I have an old Viscount D9 clonewheel. It has midi in/out. I was trying to see if it would control VB3, but I can't get VB3 to "see" it's drawbars as midi controllers. My guess is that the D9 drawbars do not output midi ccs, but if there is a way to do this, I'm hoping someone here might know how.
I was hoping someone had a manual and could see if there's a way to enter a mode where I could make it send something from the drawbars down the midi line. I know it's a long shot, but never hurts to ask.
The drawbars do not generate any midi events that show up in DP. I did find some scans of an OB3 manual, but I didn't find anything promising there either. It's not exactly the same (no midi thru on the Viscount for example) but close enough that if the drawbars sent cc info I think it would have said so.

My midi keyboard is the Yamaha Genos

I open up the virtual keyboard, and I could click away at notes and I could hear them
When I use the Yamaha Genos, I can record the notes, but I cannot hear them being played back LIVE. I can hear them in my headphone after recording.
The screen that says stereo out which is not connected is incorrect. It was connected my error in the photo. It is a screen. I always check when I open the studio. I was just in a rush to take the photos.
Hey guys, so the new firmware turns the lights on the Conspiracy on after 5 minutes of inactivity, and they cycle through the colors - literally every light in the box. As this is going on, I ran MIDI-OX and the unit is dumping out all sorts of MIDI data, can we use this to get control of these stupid lights?
I think for me, until I get better optoisolators, I have to go back to the earlier resistor. I'm going to order some others after Easter. In my particular case, it worked with the MIDI device on the bench, so there is no rush. But it sounds like the better isolator, and proper resistor, would give better and more reliable long-term results.
Workflow:
Live audio is managed by Ableton live.
We'll focus on volumes to make things less complicated.
Volume is controlled by Qlab (midi messages to IAC to Ableton live).
In addition the volume can also be controlled with an external midi
control surface (BCF2000 or apc 40).Problem:
If I notice a volume (midi) fade from qlab is to loud it's difficult
to cancel it.
Using the control surface during the fade causes a conflict. The
combined midi messages result in a chopped up volume alternating
between the control surfaces and Qlabs values until the fade finishes.
Not good. I can wait until the fade finishes and pull the volume down.
But further in the cue list another problem arises. The next fade out
is a midi message from x to y where x was the end value of the fade
in. This value was changed manually and a volume jump occurs before
fading out.
SoundmanServer would probably resolve a lot of my problems but it's
not an option. Ableton live seemed like a good option to have some
sort of mixer with effects and eq I could control from Qlab. When my
soundcheck is real tight everything works just fine. But sometimes I
have to rush the soundcheck (also samples and lights in the cue list).
Would really love a better midi routing fixing my problem. I could
also write a pd or max patch to solve my problems but I think enough
stuff is already running on the laptop during the show.
