Run the Race 

Welcome to our second annual Run the Race Fun Run 5K and 1M Run/Walk. This summer, Georgetown Christian Students will be doing some kingdom work.  They will be attending conferences through Christ in Youth as well as going to the Appalachian Mountains for a mission trip. Georgetown Christian Youth have a passion for this Appalachian area and are excited to go and be the hands and feet of Jesus through home repair.  

In order to raise the funds needed to go on this mission trip as well as summer activities to further their faith in Jesus, we will be having a Community Fun Run 5K and 1M Walk on April 11th, 2026 at Georgetown Christian Church.  

If you are interested in extending your presence in the community, please contact Matthew Townsend the student minister at Georgetown Christian Church for how to become a sponsor for this community event.  

With this Community Fun Run 5K and 1M Walk, students are hoping to raise funds in order to experience the race marked before them, As Hebrews 12:1 says, “And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” Will you help them run with perseverance?  Please consider being a sponsor to  these young students as they venture into the unknown.
