I’m Ruhani Faiheem Rahman. I received my Ph.D. in Computing and Information Systems from UNC Charlotte. I work at the intersection of trustworthy AI, GenAI, and LLMs, studying how to quantify and reduce aleatoric and epistemic uncertainty so models behave more reliably and fairly after deployment. My projects span medical imaging (sparse-view CT, accelerated MRI), recommender systems, and age estimation from facial images, where I build end-to-end ML/LLM frameworks and evaluate real-world impact.
Before my Ph.D., I earned an M.S. in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte (concentration in AI, Robotics & Gaming) and a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Feb 2017). I previously spent two years at REVE Systems building large-scale systems and later interned at Bank of America (Summer 2022).
