In 2015, the Ministry of Education (MOE) of Taiwan launched a new program titled “Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP)” to welcome students to join different universities and colleges in Taiwan for short term professional internship.
Qualified international students are welcome to apply for TEEP Fellowship.

To enhance Taiwan's advantages in higher education and increase its international visibility, as well as to follow the trend of actively encouraging university students from countries in Europe, America and Australia to come to East Asia for short-term professional internships, Taiwan’s Ministry of Education has promoted the Taiwan Experience Education Programs (hereinafter referred to as TEEP) since 2015.
The TEEP-India short-term connection plan was introduced in 2017, followed by the TEEP-AsiaPlus program, which invites outstanding young people from New South-bound nations and other advanced countries.The research fields focus primarily on 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT), biotechnology and medicine, green energy technology, smart machinery, the national defense industry, new agriculture and the circular economy.

Through the aforementioned programs, more than 50 international students have come to Taiwan Tech for short-term studies. Among the faculty leading the program, Professor Wang Jui-Tang from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering is one representative of Taiwan Tech’s efforts in international internship student recruitment.In our exclusive interviews with these six students, they were invited to share with us their starting point, process and experience during the international interns of RT Lab.
