Welcome to the "Remote Sensing Image Processing (RSIP) Laboratory" at Seoul National University of Science and Technology!

The main objective of our research group is to generate spatial information through the use of images acquired from multi-source platforms such as satellites, aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), and so on.

We always welcome and are waiting for self-motivated undergraduate/graduate students and postdoctoral researchers having a passion for studying geomatics, remote sensing, and image processing that are related to the extraction of spatial information.

Jun. 2025: Gahyun Lee and Jinwoo Cho received the Dean's Award at the 2025 Undergraduate Research Conference of the College of Engineering. Congratulations! 

May. 2025: Victoria Amadin received the Award of Excellent Contestant at the International Symposium on Remote Sensing. Congratulations! 

Apr. 2025: Dr. Minkyung Chung, Jinmin Lee, and Gahyun Lee received awards at the Conference of the Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography. Congratulations!

Mar. 2025: Dr. Minkyung Chung has been selected for the Sejong Science Fellowship Grant Program (세종과학펠로우십) and will receive approximately 100 million KRW annually for five years. Congratulations! 

Oct. 2024: Chanyeop Jung received the Excellent Award in the Early-career Research Program of the Korean Society of Remote Sensing. Congratulations!

Aug. 2024: Taeheon Kim received his Ph.D. degree and is now working as a senior researcher at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (한국항공우주연구원). Thank you for your significant contributions to the lab, and we wish you the best on your new journey. Congratulations!
