Ruiqing Li is currently a master’s student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Michigan State University (MSU), East Lansing, USA, with a concentration in Water Resources. Before joining MSU, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering at Tianjin University of Science and Technology, China, in 2022.
His current research focuses on the impacts of precipitation, soil moisture, and soil texture on the water surface elevation of main rivers in medium and large river basins. In addition, she will compare basins with and without human interventions to evaluate how anthropogenic activities may influence the relationship between river water surface elevation, precipitation, soil moisture, and soil texture.
