Mahya Ghazi Z. Hashemi

Mahya G. Z. Hashemi is currently a graduate student in Civil & Environmental Engineering at the Michigan State University (MSU), East Lansing, USA. Before joining the MSU, she received a B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering and M.Sc. degree in Water Resources Engineering, from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

Her research interest includes the application of remote sensing in water resources management and hydrology. Currently, her Ph.D. dissertation research focuses on crop phenology estimation using Sentinel 1 A/B observation and investigating the impact of SAR-observed planting date on crop yield simulation.
