Mission karmayogi
Mission Karmayogi is a transformative and innovative initiative launched by the Government of India to foster a more efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric police service. It aims to empower police personnel with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to deliver better public services. By implementing this mission karmayogi, the government envisions competent and future-ready civil service. The Prime Minister of India, during the All India Conference of Director Generals/ Inspector Generals of Police-2022, expressed his vision that every police officer of the country should teach in Classes/ Universities/NGOs/specified or general crowds for 100 hours every year.
The vision of the police services mission Karmayogi for the nation includes Energetic & enabling police services, creative & constructive police services, transparent & tech-enabled police services, imaginative & innovative police services, professional & progressive police services, and proactive & polite police services. Mission Karmayogi seeks to completely restructure the capacity-building framework at both the individual and organizational levels to offer public services effectively. Through mission karmayogi, the government hopes to promote a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous learning inside the police services, subsequently improving citizens' access to police services and image.

Civil services are the backbone of Indian governance, and strengthening their capacity is vital for improved governance. At Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), we align with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision through Mission Karmayogi, offering a platform for officers, students, and the civilian community to collaborate.
RRU Puducherry Campus has pioneered a 100-hour training program for the Puducherry Police, focusing on capacity building and a citizen-centric approach. The program is divided into three key components:
During the All-India Conference of Director Generals and Inspector Generals of Police (2022), the Hon’ble Prime Minister highlighted the importance of police officials teaching for 100 hours annually to share their expertise and inspire the youth and citizens of India.
RRU aims to be a resource center for this initiative, enhancing public perception of the police. Upon completing the 100-hour program, officers will receive a Professional Capacity-Building Certificate from RRU.
