Nikhil completed his Master's in Physics from Catholicate College, Pathanamthitta (affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala) in 2019. He joined for PhD in 2021, where his research is about Polarization rotation in intense light-matter interaction. He is expected to graduate in 2025.
Renju completed her Master's in Physics from St. Berchman's College, Changanacherry (affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala) in 2016. She also completed the Master of Philosophy degree (M. Phil) in Physics and graduated as the top of the class from the same college in 2018, before joining for her doctoral studies in 2021. She has also worked as guest lecturer at Mathoma college, Thiruvalla, Kerala (2018-2019) and at Bishop Moore College, Mavelikara, Kerala (2019-2020). Her thesis is on probing non-linear processes in laser produced plasma and is expected to graduate in 2027
Anagha V S
Anagha completed her Master's in Physics from the School of Pure and Applied Physics, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala in 2022. She qualified UGC CSIR National Eligibility Test (NET) JRF with an AIR - 230 (Dec 2022 - June 2023 examination), the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST 2024) with an AIR - 191, and the Gratitude Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE, 2024). She was also a recipient of The Kerala State Higher Education Council scholarship from 2017 to 2022. She completed a project titled "Characterisation of Fabry Perot cavity - Experimental setup and data analysis using python" under the supervision of Dr. Sunil S at the LIGO Laboratory, Institute for Plasma Research, Gujarat in 2022, to fulfill the requirements of Master's degree. Commencing her doctoral journey on 01 August 2024, she is working on the generation of high harmonics using short pulses and is expected to graduate in 2030.
Ashish George
Ashish obtained his Master's degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), India in 2021. He qualified Gratitude Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE, 2024) with an AIR rank of 24, the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST 2023) with an AIR rank of 525, and qualified the CSIR NET in 2020. He also qualified the IIT-JAM Physics in 2019 with an AIR of 284. Having joined RRI on 01 August 2024, he will be working on high harmonic generation and resonant absorption studies in plasma and is expected to graduate in 2030.
