The River Region Drama Guild (RRDG) has proudly served the River Parishes since 1994, bringing the joy of theatre and performing arts to our community. Rooted in creativity, education, and collaboration, our mission is to enrich lives through the power of live performance while cultivating the next generation of artists, actors, and theatre lovers.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to serving performing arts in the River Parishes by providing opportunities for individuals of all ages to learn, perform, and grow. Through high quality productions, workshops, and youth programs, RRDG ensures that the arts remain a vibrant and accessible part of our community.

What We Do

Main Stage Productions – Full-scale plays and musicals featuring local talent.

Youth Programs – Including the Young Actors Workshop and mentoring opportunities for aspiring performers.

Community Outreach – Bringing the stage to schools, community events, and cultural celebrations.

Arts Education – Providing training in acting, stagecraft, and theatre appreciation for all ages.

A Community That Rebuilds

In 2021, Hurricane Ida destroyed our beloved facility. But we didn’t give up and neither did you. Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, we rebuilt from the ground up.

Today, the River Region Performing Arts & Cultural Center stands as a proud symbol of resilience, hope, and the unbreakable power of the arts.

Yet our journey isn’t over we still need your help to replace essential equipment, upgrade materials, and continue making theatre accessible to everyone in the River Parishes.
