Request Help Paying your Rent or Mortgage

This form is the first step to request rent or mortgage support from the Richfield Community Safety Network.

We are an all-volunteer mutual aid network, supported largely by neighbors helping neighbors. We are currently accepting requests from people in Hennepin County who have a connection to our network and/or Richfield, so we can help verify requests through trusted community relationships. If you do not live in Richfield, we may refer you to a mutual aid network closer to you.

There are two types of requests in this form: 

• Past-Due Rent or Mortgage: For households impacted by Operation Metro Surge (OMS), limited to amounts owed since December.

• Upcoming Rent or Mortgage: For Richfield residents or families with a child enrolled in Richfield schools.

Please complete only the sections that apply to you.

We may share your information with your landlord, lender, or trusted volunteers to verify balances and coordinate payment.

Submitting this form does not guarantee assistance. We may request more documentation and may pause, deny, or cancel requests if information cannot be verified or if we have fraud concerns.
