Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Physics
RPI’s Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy Department is committed to building a safe, diverse, equitable, and inclusive community. We believe that empowering all members of the department –students, staff, and faculty – is crucial to fostering the best possible learning and working environment. We stand for the acceptance of all, and pledge to fight discrimination of underrepresented groups, regardless of their background. The diversity, equity, and inclusion taskforce has developed an action plan to incorporate these ideals into every aspect of Department life.
