RPCVs Serving at Home is an initiative started by evacuated Peace Corps volunteers who identified a need in the returned Peace Corps volunteer community for more guidance on how returned volunteers can continue to be of service.
Our aim is to join RPCVs all across America through service in our local communities. It is our hope that our initiative will give returned volunteers a heightened sense of community in shared service, connect volunteers with opportunities to serve and encourage an increase in service hours, and reflect the Peace Corps values of service, caring, initiative, and resilience.
In order to reach our goal of logging 10,000 hours, we have created a single google form that all RPCVs can use to contribute hours. You can access it here on our website or on any of our social media accounts. We ask RPCVs to log any and all hours that they spend volunteering in their communities, no matter how formal or informal the circumstances. For those who aren’t sure where to start we have identified these current areas of need:
Blood Donations with redcrossblood.org
Fighting food insecurity with feedingamerica.org

No matter when or where you served with Peace Corps, you can support our initiative by logging your service hours with us. These are challenging times for our nation as a whole and for Peace Corps as an agency. When we log our service hours together we show the strength of the RPCV community and provide a powerful tool for advocacy.
