Doctor of Engineering with background in Civil Engineering, more than 15 years of experience as a researcher at the Structural Laboratory of Japan-Peru Center for Earthquake Engineering Research and Disaster Mitigation (CISMID). Major duties as a researcher of the laboratory such as material testing, lateral load test (monotonic and cyclic), shaking table test, microtremor test. Moreover, I have conducted projects of structural evaluation, structural analysis model, design and retrofitting of structures.

Main research interest:

• Base isolation and energy dissipation systems.

• Non-linear behavior or reinforced concrete.

• Research on new retrofitting techniques of existing structures.

• Numerical simulation by using finite element method. 

• Machine Learning application in structural engineering.
