I have hosted my website on netlify and bought the domain name from domain.com. Moreover, I am currently able to receive the emails from my website to netlify, but the main issue is that i am not able to receive them on domain.com Roundcube webmail inbox (info@securityside.eu), although I have set up the MX records on netlify as follow:

Hi @luke ,I received it, thanks! But why i am receiving it like this view, the name, email, subject and the message in the message section instead of just the message in the message section and the name, email and subject in the above section like any email. By the way i tried to send an email from my private email to info@securityside.eu and its ok, but just when i receive emails from netlify i am receiving it in this way:

This is how i receive emails from netlify aq21941344 85.2 KB

This is how i receive emails from my private email:

Hello @luke, If you look into the two screen shot that i have sent you will notice that there is a format difference. The emails which are coming from netlify has the name, email, subject and the message all in the message area, whereas the emails which are coming from another provider like the second screenshot are placed above the message section and only the message is in the message area.

I am just wondering if i can change the format of the view of the first screenshot to be like the second screenshot. I hope you got my point. Thank you:)

so my problem is that although I double checked that all th erequiremtns for forwarding an email are fullfilled it still doesn't show in the contacts and companies feed. I am using the email provider webmail/roundcube to send emails. The email address is linked to my user account. The only thing I could think of that the header might be the problem because when forwarding the email it contains 'original message' and not 'forwarded'. I've attached a photo of this. Please help me.

The BlueDelta campaign used spearphishing techniques, sending emails with attachments exploiting vulnerabilities (CVE-2020-35730, CVE-2020-12641, and CVE-2021-44026) in Roundcube to run reconnaissance and exfiltration scripts, redirecting incoming emails and gathering session cookies, user information, and address books. The attachment contained JavaScript code that executed additional JavaScript payloads from BlueDelta-controlled infrastructure. The campaign displayed a high level of preparedness, quickly weaponizing news content into lures to exploit recipients. The spearphishing emails contained news themes related to Ukraine, with subject lines and content mirroring legitimate media sources.

My script runs nightly, learns from my spam folder then I delete any spam emails from the spam folder after 10 days. That give me enough time to detect non-spam emails that were wrongly identified. There is a ton of SA material on the web, you will find lots of help with research but the scripts are already done and available to copy for your installation.

From time to time, our Support team may ask you to export an email message and send it to us for analysis, or you may need to download it for offline storage. Either way, this Knowledge Base article will instruct you on how to export emails in webmail using Roundcube so you can save them to your computer.

I've got Ubuntu 16.04 (Desktop Ed.) For my e-mail I run SMTP server (Postfix/Dovecot/Roundcube). Once in awhile I do a bare metal backup of the whole system with Clonezilla (plus a tarball file backup too just in case). Since it takes rather long time, I often just do a backup of my www directory structure plus databases that I backup from within PHPMyAdmin. Including roundcube.sql file too. "Roundcube" folder proper resides in one of my sites' (I've got a few of them on one physical machine) public_html directories. ALSO... and that's probably a crucial thing here... I have a content of "mail" folder which itself a sub-directory of another folder named after a user in the system (that I use as a login in webmail interface of RC). I think I created it manually when I was installing Roundcube a few months ago. In that "mail" folder I have ".imap" subfolder too with "INBOX", "INBOX.Sent", "Trash" and other folders too. So I think that basically I've got it all as a backup. That's what I thought... So when my HDD died a few days ago, I easily re-created everything from a Clonezilla image made a little over one month ago. BUT... When I go to RC's Inbox now... I only see the e-mails that were there back then (i.e., a month ago, and not the recent ones!) Import of roundcube.sql doesn't help. I still have those recent emails missing... I want to somehow retrieve them or at least to have access to my recent emails (the ones that were in RC's Inbox AFTER the Clonezilla backup had been made).

The problem is that when I try to log into my webmail via Roundcube or Squirrelmail (tried both), my emails aren't appearing. I have been able to ssh into the droplet and recover my Maildir, so the data is still on there. It's just that Roundcube and Squirrelmail are looking in the wrong location.

I am having trouble getting the final parts of my mail server up and working. I followed this tutorial to get everything set up on the mail server side. I have installed roundcube for webmail and configured it but it is saying "error connecting, connection refused" when attempting to connect to it using IMAP. This is thorough the "test imap" section of its installer. Also it is giving me an error message about perissions for it's log and temp folders but that's not as important as acutally getting mail to work.

Summary: Do you want a solution to move emails from Roundcube to Outlook account? This blog will give you an effective way to move emails to Outlook email client. Here, we will also share a stepwise guide to simplify this migration task.

Roundcube is a web-based IMAP email client, introduced in 2008 with its stable version. It offers users lots of facilities to manage their data, such as emails, contacts, etc. At present, there are a lot of email clients in the market, so choosing a powerful one is quite difficult for users.

Outlook email client facilitates users to manage their data, such as emails, tasks, calendars, etc., in a more reliable way. Moreover, it allows users to web as well as desktop-based facilities to work. Users will be enabled to access their data from anywhere at any time by using its web-based facility.

It can be a frustrating task for a user to migrate from an IMAP platform to another one. However, this task can be easily performed with a proper and effective guide. Users can use two approaches to transfer emails from Roundcube to Outlook account. The two approaches are a manual solution, and the other one is a professional tool.

Users have to finish this task in two phases. In the first phase, we export emails from Roundcube and import them to the Outlook program. Let us see the steps you will use to migrate Roundcube to Outlook account.

This is the complete procedure to manually export emails from Roundcube to Outlook account. Using this solution, users have to deal with a lot of problems. So, learn its limitations before applying this solution to migrate your emails to Outlook.

We elaborated on two ways in this blog that users can use to migrate emails from Roundcube to Outlook account. The Shoviv IMAP Migration Tool is the best and most rapid way to migrate Roundcube emails. It also enables users to try its free demo version to understand how this software works and its capability. With the free demo version, users can freely move the first 50 items from each folder.

After the above, I saw roundcube loaded correctly in my browser I can receive emqails and all seems OK til the moment that I tried to send an email. Then I got in the popup windows the error: Connection Error (Failed to reach the server)!

Not sure from the development side, you could go in a direction that roundcube and the mail client benefit from common modules. Or they just share experience, the Nextcloud people for a more modern interface and the roundcube people for more specific knowledge about mail content.

It does look like the applications are configured with local IP to be shown on mail header which is marking the emails in the filter. I am afraid, the trace of the local IP is still advisable to be checked on the remote end as it should apply for loopback for other connections as well if applied from the server end. From hosting Support end, we will not be able to check on the settings on the third-party client.

Hi @rcgillis

I think my query was not clear, since 2017 I have the ojs configured in the same way and I never had problems with sending emails, until now that I updated to version 3.3.0.14 (from 3.3.0.4). Is this not a problem with this new version?

Then one day it just stopped loading emails! Everything else was all fine - no problems with login etc, but trying to preview an email just game me a sadfaec. Chrome couldn't load the contents, and told me that the server had refused to connect:
