Angela was born in a small town in the southern most part of Nova Scotia. As soon as she could pick up a pencil she was drawing, on everything. scrap paper, her mother’s daily agenda, the walls. She spent her lunch hours in the art room during high school, instead of the noisy cafeteria. She has dabbled in many different mediums such as pottery, photography, painting and online digital media.

During her final year of high school, she volunteered as a writer for a community newspaper. She interviewed business owners, coaches and volunteers. Writing articles about something interesting they had each achieved. Her first interview was with a seeing impaired gentleman that could ride a unicycle. She was more nervous to interview him, than he was to ride the unicycle! After high school, she attended the University of King’s College with the intention to take Journalism. Deciding instead to apply to an animation college that had caught her eye while she was attending school. Angela graduated with a 3D animation diploma, which taught the basics of classical animation, 3D modeling, postproduction work and story boarding.

She worked at a Gemini award winning animation company from 2001 until 2007 as a paint and effect/background artist. Then when the company lost its funding, Angela was forced to re-evaluate her education. So, she did the exact opposite again, and went into the healthcare field and graduated as a patient support worker otherwise known as a Continuing Care Assistant. That’s when her side kick (daughter) Lily came along to join the fun! Angela worked and raised her daughter and wanted to come back to the art that she had always missed. She taught herself how to use a sewing machine and began making an assortment of creatives, dog bow ties, leggings and hair accessories. As a digital marketer and copywriter, she takes her previous experiences that lend itself to storytelling, photography and video editing and creates family friendly stories, in her online show.
