Parades

The Rotterdam Elks have a proud history of walking in parades here in our community. The Memorial Day Parade put on by the town is a fond tradition set up by the town of Rotterdam and the Elks have been proud to be part of it.

The Rotterdam Flag Day Parade

The Rotterdam Flag Day parade is put on by the Rotterdam Elks as a part of their yearly Flag Day Ceremony. Flag day was sponsored by the Elks and made into a national holiday because of the Elks work in our government.

Each year every lodge in America puts on a Flag Day ceremony and the Rotterdam Lodge took it one step further and decided to celebrate Flag Day with a community parade.
