Celebrate with us

Join the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie as we celebrate 100 years of service in our community. We are excited to both celebrate with, and show appreciation for, the community that has made our fundraisers, projects, and charitable giving possible. Sault Ste. Marie has supported Rotarians in their efforts to promote Rotary International’s guiding principles of “Service above Self” for a century.

Our guest speaker Jennifer Jones

Jennifer is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland, a Past District Governor of District 6400 and past Vice President of Rotary International. Currently, she is the chair of the Toronto Peace Building Summit 2018 and co-chair of the End Polio Now - Make History Today campaign to raise $150-million dollars. One of Rotary International's most recognized communicators, Jennifer has presented keynote addresses and training workshops at hundreds of conferences around the world.

Menu

Rosetta Sicoli and her staff at the Marconi Cultural & Events Centre have planned a beautiful seasonal menu for our celebration which features an antipasto buffet, butternut squash risotto, mixed greens salad with pecans and cranberries, beef tenderloin with bordelaise sauce, stuffed tiger shrimp, vegetable medley, and flourless chocolate torte.

Our esteemed guest Kevin Collins

Easter Seals Ontario will be represented by President and CEO Kevin J. Collins. Our mandate to support children with physical disabilities has been the heart behind the efforts of hundreds of Rotarians for generations, starting with our support of Easter Seals in 1923. In 2014, our club received the Yvonne Alexander Award, the charity’s highest honour for “recognizing exemplary support in helping children with physical disabilities succeed.”
