Roseville Boys' Soccer is excited to announce that we will be running a comprehensive Summer Training Program for the 2026 season. Organized by varsity head coach Joseph Vigil & his coaching staff, this program is open for ALL RAHS/RAMS students entering grades 7-12 that are interested in being a part of the RBS program this fall.
The RBS Summer Training Program will take place between June 10th and July 29th. All events will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on the west turf field at RAHS. The program consists of 20 sessions split between practices & scrimmages against other high school soccer programs.
All training sessions are designed by varsity head coach Joseph Vigil with a holistic vision in mind, aiming to develop the skill level & match condition of the program as a whole. Each week will focus on a principle from the RBS Game Model, giving players game-realistic training through tactical, technical & conditioning exercises.
Most training sessions will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as some Fridays when there is not a scrimmage scheduled.
RBS will host & organize 6 friendly scrimmages against other high school boys' soccer programs. These scrimmages are directly connected with the training sessions, being the culmination of the work that we do throughout the week. The idea is to teach our players our game model through game-realistic means.
Scrimmage dates will take place from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Fridays or Saturdays, depending on the week.
This opportunity is FREE and separate from the RBS Summer Training Program. SOL of the Cities (SOTC) is a local non-profit organization focused on delivering growth opportunities to the youth of the Twin Cities through soccer. SOTC hosts a summer futsal league, and we have been invited to be a part of their sixth consecutive season.
Instead of a cost, SOTC has a 'Serve-to-Play' model where players pay back by completing a weekly service project. Players will play for an hour and volunteer for an hour. A total of 10 players from grades 9-12 who show strong commitment and willingness will be selected each week to participate.
There are three payment options. We operate on a pay-what-you-can basis. Payments are due at the end of the summer season.
$200 with no required community service hours.
$100 AND a minimum of 3h of community service.
$25-$99 AND a minimum of 5h of community service.
Participating student-athletes are expected to take responsibility and update their availability (attending or excused) for each event on the GroupMe app. Failure to accurately update availability 8 hours before an event will result in the student-athlete being uninvited from that and the next event. Transportation is not provided by RBS, student-athletes are expected to find their own rides. Any forms of bullying, hazing, discrimination, or intimidation are harshly condemned by RBS and will result in immediate expulsion from the Summer Training Program.
Fill out the interest form HERE and select a payment choice. Once we have your contact information, we will get in contact with you about signing a waiver and making a payment, and invite you to a group chat on the GroupMe app.
