Another familiar angle to shoot roses from. There aren't really any technical problems with this shot, just practical ones. Unless you want to sacrifice all your roses by cutting off the stems, you'll have to create some way of holding them still and tightly in place.

I got a white rose bush from the Tractor Supply Store here in Florida some weeks ago and 3 of them have stated to bloom and part is tiny white and red . they haven't completely bloomed yet! I'm wondering why and what's going on with the rose bush ! Did they confuse it for a white and its red or is it an osiria rose and or both? Any ideas?

I am intrigued by some of you commente about incomsistancies within the blooms of Osiria. I HAVE never found that .I had twn plants at one time and found them excellet blooms of the same quality. It is alitte tougher to grow but that depends entirely on soil, water , fertility and care. The afore mentioned differnces could be mis named plants which can happen at digging time. Then again roses have strong propensity to sport at grafting and this may also have happened to some of the afore mention plants . They may also sport on the plant themselves.

Please note that your rose pencil drawing can get easily smudged at this point, so try to keep it in a protected place. If you'd like to keep it for awhile, spray it with a final sealant. This will prevent smudging and fading. It will also protect the drawing from UV rays and moisture. This rambling, sometimes climbing, introduced rose species is highly invasive throughout much of the United States. Originally from Japan, Korea and eastern China, multiflora rose was first introduced to the eastern United States in 1866 as rootstock for ornamental roses. Since then it has been widely used for erosion control, as a "living fence" to confine livestock, and in highway medians to reduce headlight glare and as a crash barrier. Here in King County, Washington, there are patches of multiflora rose along a few highway stretches as well as escaped populations along streams such as Issaquah Creek, Soos Creek and Cottage Lake Creek.
