Apart from the exclusive features for root users, Root Browser gives you basically the same tools as you'd find on any good file browser: you can copy, cut, and move files and folders comfortably, as well as rename any document.

Starting from ROOT version 6.26/00, RBrowser is the first web-based component used by default when ROOT is built with root7.It is automatically invoked with new TBrowser. We recommend to install the chrome/chromium web browser, but all other web browsers should do the job.

If for any reasons RBrowser does not provide required functionality, one always can disable it.Either by specifying root --web=off when starting ROOT or by setting Browser.Name: TRootBrowser in rootrc file. Please report your case at the ROOT Forum so we can address it!

This function has to be called by the Browse() member function of objects when they are called by a browser. If check < 0 (default) no check box is drawn, if 0 then unchecked checkbox is added, if 1 checked checkbox is added.

Browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Opera) generally trust the same root certificates as the operating system they are running on. Firefox is the exception: it has its own root store. Soon, new versions of Chrome will also have their own root store.

No, it does not. It just autocompletes to the next youtube video and I have to X through all youtube videos I have ever watched. Just please add a setting to only enable autocompleting for root domains.

CA owners with self-signed root CA certificates included in the Chrome Root Store must satisfy the requirements defined in this policy, including taking responsibility for ensuring the continued compliance of all corresponding subordinate CAs and delegated third parties participating in the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

Google includes or removes self-signed root CA certificates in the Chrome Root Store as it deems appropriate at its sole discretion. The selection and ongoing inclusion of CA certificates is done to enhance the security of Chrome and promote interoperability. CA certificates that do not provide a broad service to all browser users will not be added to, or may be removed from the Chrome Root Store. CA certificates included in the Chrome Root Store must provide value to Chrome end users that exceeds the risk of their continued inclusion.

It is expected that a future version of this policy will identify a phase-out plan for existing root CA certificates included in the Chrome Root Store that do not satisfy the requirements above to align all included CAs on these principles.

If the CA owner has not yet publicly disclosed an incident, they must notify chrome-root-program [at] google [dot] com and include an initial timeline for public disclosure. Chrome uses the information in the public disclosure as the basis for evaluating incidents.

TBrowser invokes by default the Web-based ROOT file browser [RBrowser](ROOT::RBrowser) To change this behaviour, and invoke the standard TBrowser, one should put the following directive in the .rootrc file:

Ans. It depends on you. The use of root explorer can cause some damage to the apps/game you have installed on your device if you deleted some important elements of the app or game that is required to run them.

Ans. This is because your device blocks the installation from unknown sources by default for security reasons but you are 100% safe with root explorer. So you can follow the following steps to fix this.

When Microsoft Edge establishes connections to an HTTPS server, Edge verifies that the server has presented a certificate issued by an entity trusted by the browser. This trust relationship is established via a certificate trust list and the component responsible for performing the checks is called the certificate verifier.

For managed devices, starting in Microsoft Edge 112 on Windows and macOS, both the default certificate trust list and the certificate verifier are provided by and shipped with the browser. This approach decouples the list and verifier from the host operating system's root store for the default verification behavior. See the rollout timeline and testing guidance for more detail about the timing of the change.

This change means that certificate verification logic works consistently in Microsoft Edge on Windows and macOS. In a future to-be-determined release, the rollout will also apply to Linux and Android. Due to Apple App Store policies, the Apple-provided root store and certificate verifier continue to be used on iOS and iPadOS.

The root store that ships with Microsoft Edge on Windows and macOS comes from the Certificate Trust List (CTL) defined by the Microsoft Trusted Root Certificate Program. This root certificate program defines the list that ships with Microsoft Windows. As a result, customers should expect to see no user-visible changes.

On macOS, if a certificate issued by a root certificate that's trusted by the platform but not by Microsoft's Trusted Root Certificate Program, the certificate is no longer trusted. This lack of trust isn't expected to be a common situation, since most servers already ensure the TLS certificates that they use are trusted by Microsoft Windows.

Starting in Microsoft Edge 109, an enterprise policy (MicrosoftRootStoreEnabled) and a flag in edge://flags ("Microsoft Root Store") is available to control when the built-in root store and certificate verifier are used.

Starting with Microsoft Edge 112, the default changed for all Windows and macOS devices, including enterprise-managed ones, to use the verifier implementation and CTL shipped with the browser. The MicrosoftRootStoreEnabled policy continues to be available in this release to allow enterprises to revert to the previous behavior if unexpected issues are found and to report the issues to Microsoft. ff782bc1db
