Rong (Charlotte) Wang

Welcome!

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Stony Brook University. My research interests are Empirical Industrial Organization, Energy and Environmental Economics, and Applied Microeconomics. 

My research focuses on addressing the energy trilemma of affordability, security and sustainability, exploring how to meet electricity demand efficiently and reliably while achieving environmental objectives through optimal market design. I have also gained two years of pre-doctoral experience as a credit analyst at ANZ Banking Group.

As I near graduation in 2025, I am seeking opportunities in non-academic sectors where I can leverage my skills to drive data-driven business decision-makings.
