Romain Millan - Ph.D - Geophysicist

About me

My name is Romain Millan, I am a geophysicist interested in the study of glaciers and ice sheets. I obtained a Master and engineering degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Strasbourg, France. Recently, I received a PhD degree in Earth System Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, under the supervision of Eric Rignot. My PhD thesis was entitled "Dynamics of glaciers and Ice Sheets at the Ocean Margins from Airborne and Satellite Data ". I am currently under a post-doctoral contract at the Institut des Geosciences de l'Environnement, Grenoble, France where I will continue to study the dynamic of glaciers from remote sensing data.
