I am Romain Lestage, an Associate Professor at East China University of Science and Technology, affiliated with the School of Business and the Oliver Hart Research Center of Contracts and Governance. My work focuses on the economics of competition, regulation, and innovation, with particular attention to digital markets and network industries. 

I am especially interested in how economic analysis can inform public policy and regulatory decision-making. A distinctive aspect of my background is my long-term professional experience in China.
