Rollercoaster Tycoon Free Download Windows 7

If your Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 game is not running under Windows 7, this is will get it running.

What you need to do is find the game exe and open properties and go to the compatibility tab. On this set the operating system to Windows 95 or Windows 98, check Disable Visual Themes, Disable desktop composition and check Run as this program as Administrator and click ok.

Then download the patch.

After that the game should run just fine.

I've tried both and it still wont install on my machine. I am running windows 7 32bit and set the game and both the uk and us patch to run in compatibility mode for windows xp sp3. i have also disabled visual themes and desktop composition for both, as well as set them to run as an administrator. any ideas? any help is awesome

noghiri...my son and I have been playing this game on his laptop running windows 7 home premium 64 bit after I installed it, as mentioned in my post above, almost a year ago now without any problems. Sorry your experience was not the same.

Go to the rct file, right click and select troubleshoot compatibility, go through the steps and it should work fine for you after that. Just worked for me!

In the troubleshooter it will ask you if this programme worked on any previous windows version (xp, 95, etc ) it used to work on xp for me back in the day so i just picked that and it then chnages the settings to the compatibility settings for windows xp.

There are loads of rides to add to your park of many different types (rollercoaster, thrill, gentle, water etc.). There are also 7 different scenery themes (Spooky, Western etc.), which allows for a huge variety of scenery decoration throughout your park.

The sounds can become quite irritating. The screams from rollercoasters don't seem to be as realistic as in RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2.

video is blurry i miss playing this game i had 2 cds of IT played them on 2 different computers that ran windows xp 1 was a desk top i bought brand new from the store it was there demo model thou i bought the game at the same day i bought the computer & they worked till the day the computer stopped & Other Computer was a lab top that had windows xp pro on it that was given to me & that worked good till day they quit, i still have that cd in good condition. Now that i have a new windows 10 & a Note Book computer that does NOT Have a cd player & i have NOT Been able to get Roller Coaster Tycoon to work so i filled in this bye 4 now please find a fix & by the way i have never had any luck with a external hard drive or disk player & i am expecting the same with a cd player
