This Privacy Policy explains how Crondra Studios ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Roll & Goal ("the Game"). By using the Game, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
The Game uses anonymous authentication by default (via Firebase Anonymous Auth). No personal information is required to play.
Optionally, you may connect a game service account — Google Play Games (on Android) or Apple Game Center (on iOS). If you do, we receive your display name and player ID from that service. We do not collect your email address, phone number, or password. Connecting a game service is voluntary and can be disconnected at any time from the in-game settings.
We collect and store data necessary to provide the Game's features, including:
Player statistics, match results, and progress data
Squad composition, card collection, and in-game economy data
Tournament and league standings
Aggregated Global Cup statistics: when you complete a Global Cup tournament, your chosen nation and the tournament outcome are contributed as anonymous incremental counters to a shared global dataset. This data is not linked to your individual account or user ID.
Season Pass progress, task completion, and claimed rewards
This data is stored in Google Firestore (a Firebase service) associated with your unique user ID. Our Firestore database and server-side Cloud Functions are hosted in the European Union (Google Cloud region: europe-west1).
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information when the Game encounters an error. This data includes device type, OS version, app version, and the sequence of actions leading to a crash. It does not include personal identifiers.
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the Game. AdMob may collect:
Device identifiers (such as advertising ID)
IP address
General location (country/region)
App usage and interaction data with ads
AdMob uses this data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent preferences and applicable law. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings (Google Settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization on Android; Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising on iOS).
For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Subscribers to the premium plan are not shown interstitial (forced, full-screen) advertisements while their subscription is active. Voluntary reward advertisements — short videos that users may choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards — remain available to all users, including subscribers, as an optional feature.
If you make in-app purchases or subscribe to a premium plan, your payment is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify purchase receipts and subscription status. RevenueCat receives purchase confirmation data from the respective store. We do not have access to your payment card details or billing information.
For more information, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy at: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
If you have enabled push notifications for the Game, we may send you notifications about game events, season updates, arena resets, and special offers via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). No additional personal data is collected for this purpose. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
If you connect a game service account — Google Play Games (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS) — we submit your in-game achievements and Arena leaderboard score to that service. The provider may display your profile name and avatar on public leaderboards within its app. Google Play Games data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy); Apple Game Center data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
We use Firebase App Check with Play Integrity (Android) and DeviceCheck (iOS) to verify that requests to our backend come from legitimate, unmodified versions of the Game. This process involves your device sending an integrity token to Google. No personal information is extracted from this process. See Google's documentation for details on what data Play Integrity accesses.
The Game includes optional social features that let you connect and interact with other players:
Friends: You may add other players as friends using a shareable friend code, or by accepting a friend request. When two players are connected, a limited public profile is shared between them — this includes your club name, club emblem and colors, player level, total points, and friend code. It does not include your real name, email address, phone number, or any contact details.
Player appreciation ("Respect"): After a match you may send "Respect" to your opponent. This increments a public appreciation counter on their profile and does not reveal your identity beyond your public profile.
Gifting: You may send in-game Arena tickets to players on your friends list.
This social data is stored in Google Firestore, associated with your user ID and the user IDs of the players you choose to interact with. You can remove a friend at any time from the in-game Friends menu, which deletes the connection for both players. If you do not use these features, no social data is shared with other players.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand in aggregate how the Game is used — for example how many players open the Game, which features are used, and how sessions progress. This service automatically collects a randomly generated app instance identifier, device and operating system information, app version, and an approximate region derived from your IP address. Depending on your device settings and consent choices, it may also use your device's advertising identifier.
We use this information to improve the Game and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, including attributing app installs to the campaign that led to them. It is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Where required by applicable law, this collection is governed by the consent choices you make in the privacy prompt shown when you first open the Game. You can also limit it at device level (Google Settings → Ads on Android; Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iOS).
We use the collected information to:
Operate and improve the Game and its features
Display your progress, stats, and leaderboard rankings
Manage subscriptions and in-app purchases
Deliver Season Pass rewards and track season progress
Enable optional social features such as friends, gifting, and player appreciation
Send push notifications about game events and seasons (where permitted)
Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs
Understand aggregate feature usage and measure the effectiveness of our advertising
Serve advertisements (for non-subscribers)
Protect against cheating, fraud, and unauthorized access
Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party service providers, solely to operate the Game:
Authentication: Google Firebase (Purpose: Anonymous sign-in and account management)
Database: Google Firestore (Purpose: Game data storage)
Crash Reporting: Firebase Crashlytics (Purpose: Error diagnostics)
Push Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging (Purpose: Game event notifications)
App Integrity: Firebase App Check / Play Integrity / DeviceCheck (Purpose: Security)
Advertising: Google AdMob (Purpose: In-game advertisements)
Analytics: Google Analytics for Firebase (Purpose: Aggregate usage measurement and advertising campaign attribution)
Purchase Management: RevenueCat (Purpose: Subscription and IAP verification)
Achievements & Rankings: Google Play Games Services (Android) and Apple Game Center (iOS) - optional (Purpose: Achievements, leaderboards)
Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data protection terms.
Visibility to Other Players: When you use multiplayer, Arena, leaderboard, or social/friends features, a limited public profile is visible to other players you are matched or connected with. This may include your club name, club emblem and colors, player level, total points, friend code, and — for Arena defense — your squad lineup. This information never includes your real name, email address, phone number, or contact details. We do not enable free-text chat or private messaging between players.
We retain your data according to the following schedules:
Gameplay data (player statistics, squad, economy, season pass progress): retained for as long as your account is active. If your account remains inactive for 18 consecutive months, we may delete your gameplay data.
Aggregated anonymous statistics (Global Cup nation picks and outcomes stored in gc_global_stats): retained indefinitely, as this data cannot be linked back to any individual user and is used solely for global leaderboard features.
Crash and diagnostic reports: retained for 90 days by Firebase Crashlytics, in accordance with Google's standard Crashlytics retention policy.
Season Pass progress data is retained after a season ends to allow reward claiming during the 3-day grace period, and archived thereafter.
You may delete your account and associated data at any time by:
(a) opening the Game's Settings menu and selecting the in-app account deletion option; or
(b) submitting a deletion request at: https://sites.google.com/view/roll-and-goal-data-deletion/; or
(c) contacting us at crondrastudios@gmail.com.
Deletion removes your user profile, gameplay statistics, squad data, season pass progress, defense log history, and social data (friend connections, friend requests, and received appreciation) from our servers. Aggregated anonymous statistics (such as global tournament outcomes) that cannot be linked back to you are retained.
The Game's content age rating is assigned by the respective app store (Apple App Store and Google Play) and may vary by region; please refer to the store listing for the current rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
Right to correction: Request that inaccurate data be corrected
Right to deletion: Request that your data be deleted ("right to be forgotten"). You may submit a data deletion request directly at: https://sites.google.com/view/roll-and-goal-data-deletion/
Right to restriction: Request that we limit how we use your data
Right to object: Object to our processing of your data
Right to portability: Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at crondrastudios@gmail.com.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including Firestore security rules, Firebase App Check enforcement, and encrypted storage for sensitive values. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Game may contain links or integrations with third-party services (such as Google Play or the App Store). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
