As a D-Class Roland was immediatley after booking and processing, which included the removal of all his memories except his name. birthday, blood type and for some reason some faint memories of being an arecheologist. He was transfered to Site-66 where during his first day, he signed the contract for 30 days. He as well ended up meeting the GENSEC John Zu who in turn made Roland dislike the treatment of D-Class. After for some reason D-Block was abadnoned, Roland was able to escape with the help of the Puppet. as he reached the local town "Twin Pines", where he had witnessed a hostage trade from CI and Foundation. As he followed CI back to their base, he met their big dodo bird "Mike" as he and Mike talked, he realized that CI didn't care too much about him so Roland went straight back to foundation, where he was met by NTF and asked him if he wanted to join. recalling the memories of being an archeologist, Roland decided to join as a reasrch where he is today.
