Given the ultra problems, I am going to copy all of my comments, and ask a mod to delete this thread as it has gone seriously awry. There may still be a tablo problem, but there is a definite Roku problem.

I have:

(2) Roku boxes, a Premiere+ and an Ultra (newer I think). Both are on Cradlepoint MBR95.

(1) Tablo 4 Tuner, connected to 1TB Seagate Backups and to Xfinity Router (MBR95)

(1) Router, Cradlepoint MBR95, connected to Linksys CM1016 modem on Xfinity

(1) AT&T Gateway connected to AT&T vDSL

Tablo is connected to Xfinity Router, as ultimate goal is to kick AT&T to the curb. Hate them.

Both Rokus are on Xfinity Router so they can use Tablo, and it does work on both Roku other than guide problems on Ultra. The ultra has started having a lot of buffering issues, probably related to failure in networking on it.

I am trying to manually set my Roku premier (4620x) to 4k 60hz which displays fine through my Denon Processor on my Samsung TV. If I manually set 4k 60hz and confirm that I can see the picture, I can watch everything in 4K (or less). That's exactly what I want.

I have checked the cables and connecting the ROKU directly to the TV it sees 4k 60hz....I checked the other cable the same way. Both cables show 4k 60hz. Clearly, there is something in the Denon that stops the Roku from seeing that I have a 4k 60hz capable tv connected...That's some design issue in the Denon which I don't need to figure out because If I manually set the roku to 4k 60hz, I see the 4k 60hz picture through the Denon processor. I just need to lock the Roku into that manual setting.

How do I stop the Roku Premier from ignoring my manual setting and returning to automatic detect (1080p) the next time I power on the system? (note: I am not powering the Roku off...just the tv/denon).

Out of the blue, my Roku stopped responding to any C4 navigators. I was able to get it working again by manually entering the IP address into the driver in HE, but there is note in the driver info that says I shouldn't enter the address but instead choose the Roku from the list. But the driver seems unable to find any Roku's on my network.

Ah I see it now thanks. But when I press the "Rescan for Roku Players" button, it doesn't seem to do anything. No hourglass icon processing, and it doesn't prompt me to pick the player for the room. Also, how do I enter the Roku IP manually into Composer HE? Thanks again

I pressed the Rescan button again, and the drop down selection list doesn't come up (pls see screenshot). I have 2 Roku's connected to my home, only 1 has the issue, the other works fine. The one with the issue is probably because few weeks ago I changed the Wi-Fi network on the Roku (to not the C4 network). Prior to that C4 controlled the Roku fine. Yesterday I switched this Roku back to the same Wi-FI network as the C4 network and C4 cannot control the Roku. Could it be solved through manually entering the Roku IP into C4? If so, how do I do that in HE? Thanks everyone...
