Welcome to Remote control for Roku TV (the "Application"), developed and published by LAMAI ("we", "us", or "our").
This Application is an independent utility software designed to allow users to control compatible smart TVs and streaming media players from their mobile devices over a local Wi-Fi network. The Application is provided free of charge, with optional premium features accessible via In-App Purchases.
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by this Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

No Affiliation: This Application is an independent, third-party utility application. It is NOT an official application of Roku, Inc. or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries. The Application is NOT affiliated with, authorized, maintained, sponsored, certified, or endorsed by Roku, Inc.
Nominative Fair Use: Any references to "Roku", "Roku TV", "Streaming Stick", or other related terms, model names, and registered brand names within this Application, its metadata, or promotional listings are used solely for descriptive and identification purposes (Nominative Fair Use) to inform users regarding the technical compatibility of our Application with such hardware devices.
Property Rights: All trademarks, product names, trade names, logos, and registered brands mentioned or displayed belong exclusively to their respective trademark owners (Roku, Inc. and associated entities). Use of these names or marks does not imply any ownership claim or commercial partnership by LAMAI.
Non-Interference: This Application operates strictly through standard, public network protocols over a local Wi-Fi connection. It does not bypass, alter, or infringe upon any proprietary operating systems, security features, or digital rights management (DRM) mechanisms.
We respect your personal privacy. We do NOT require user registration, and we do NOT collect or store personal identifying information (PII) on our servers.
To locate and pair with your TV or streaming device, the Application requires access to your Local Area Network (LAN):
Local IP & Device Scanning: The Application scans local IP addresses solely to detect compatible TV devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Zero External Storage: Local network scan data remains strictly on your mobile device and is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with external servers or third parties.
We use trusted third-party SDKs to improve application performance and stability:
Analytics & Performance Data: Anonymized statistics on app interaction and feature usage (e.g., via Firebase Analytics).
Crash Logs: Technical diagnostics (device model, OS version, stack traces) generated when an error occurs to help us issue bug fixes.
To deliver core functionalities, the Application may request the following permissions:
Wi-Fi State / Network Access: Required to communicate with your TV over your local network.
Vibration: Used to provide haptic tactile feedback when remote control buttons are tapped.
Microphone (Optional): Used exclusively for real-time voice search commands. Audio data is processed instantly and is never recorded or stored.
The Application incorporates third-party services that process data in accordance with their own respective privacy policies:
Google Play Services: Fundamental platform capabilities.
Google AdMob: Serves third-party advertisements to support our free operations. Ad networks may utilize anonymous advertising IDs (GAID) to deliver contextual ads.
Google Play In-App Billing: Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play’s official secure payment system. We never process, store, or have access to your credit card or financial details.
Because we do not maintain user accounts or personal profiles on external cloud databases, there is no persistent personal record to request deletion for. You can instantly reset all application states and local data at any time by:
Clearing the Application cache and storage in your Android device settings.
Uninstalling the Application from your device.
Our Application does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take prompt corrective action.
We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Application following any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
