    Plot Summary

    Liu Yin is a successful writer who lives in Beijing with her boyfriend. She is unhappy with her relationship and feels suffocated by her boyfriend's possessiveness and jealousy. She decides to take a break and travels to Wushan, a scenic town in Sichuan province, where she meets a young college student who works as a tour guide. The two women are instantly attracted to each other and begin a passionate affair. However, their romance is not without obstacles. Liu Yin's boyfriend follows her to Wushan and tries to win her back. The college student's conservative parents disapprove of her relationship with Liu Yin and pressure her to marry a man. The two women also face discrimination and harassment from the local people who are hostile to their unconventional love. Will they be able to overcome these difficulties and stay together?
