The instances are save as .cst files. Each instance is identified by:
number of components: 10, 20, 30, 40 ,50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120.
order strength: 0.4, 0.6, 0.8.
interval of possible values for the success probabilities: low values (l) [0, 0.2], medium (e, "evenly spread") [0.2, 0.8], or high (-) [0.8, 1].
Each combination of the above three parameters corresponds to 10 instances, so an instance named s20_so4_1e.cst refers to the first one of the ten instances with 20 components, order strength of 0.4, with probabilities randomly drawn from the interval [0.2, 0.8].

In each instance, the integer n in the first line is the number of components. The next n lines each describe one component, as follows: the i-th line starts with the cost of testing component i (integer), followed by the probability that component i will pass its test (decimal), then the number of successor components that can only be tested after component i. The remainder of the line contains the indices of the successors.
