Currently, I am an Associate Professor (part-time) at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Universidad Central de Chile, La Serena. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Universidad de La Serena, Chile. Prior to that, I held a postdoctoral researcher position at the Faculty of Mathematics, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, under the mentorship of Mircea Petrache. I got my PhD in Mathematics at Universidad de Santiago de Chile under the supervision of Andrés Navas.

My research lies at the intersection of metric geometry, aperiodic order, and dynamical systems. A recurring question I tackle is: which structural properties survive under deformation, perturbation, approximation, or weakened notions of equivalence? Particularly, my interests include:
My research lies at the intersection of metric geometry, aperiodic order, and dynamical systems. A recurring question I tackle is: which structural properties survive under deformation, perturbation, approximation, or weakened notions of equivalence? Particularly, my interests include:
- Metric and discrete geometry: Delone sets, separated nets, quantitative embeddings, distortion, and dimensional reduction.
- Rectifiability and regularity: Equivalence of Delone sets to lattices under (bi-)Lipschitz, Hölder homogeneous, and intermediate-regularity mappings, including connections with prescribed Jacobians and volume-form equations.
- Mathematical quasicrystals and aperiodic order: Stability of quasicrystalline structures, diffraction, and Fourier transforms under statistical convergence and sparse defects.
- Random perturbations and inverse problems: Recovery of quasiperiodic configurations from noisy observations using diffraction and Fourier information.
