Rock ID - Crystal Scanner (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is developed by Veysel Yesilmen. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our mobile application.
When you use our App, we may collect the following information:
When you use the rock identification feature, photos you take or select are sent to our AI analysis service for processing. These images are used solely to identify rocks, minerals, crystals, and gemstones.
When you use the AI chat feature, your text messages are sent to our AI service to generate responses related to rocks, minerals, and geology.
We generate a hashed (SHA-256) version of your device identifier to manage scan history and provide a personalized experience. This identifier cannot be used to directly identify you.
We collect your device’s language setting to deliver results and responses in your preferred language.
We may collect basic device information such as device model, operating system version, and app version for analytics and troubleshooting.
If you subscribe to premium features, Apple handles all payment processing through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.
Photos and chat messages are collected only when you actively use the identification or AI chat features.
Anonymous device identifier and language preferences are collected automatically when you use the App.
Device information may be collected through third-party analytics tools.
We request explicit user consent through an in-app permission dialog before sending any data to our AI services.

Your rock photos, chat messages, anonymous device identifier, and language preference are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS to AppsFork servers for AI-powered identification and chat responses.
Photos are processed for analysis and are not permanently stored after processing.
AppsFork processes data securely and does not use your data for unrelated purposes.
Used for subscription management and purchase verification. RevenueCat receives purchase-related data from Apple to verify subscription status.

We may use anonymous analytics to monitor performance and improve the App. No personally identifiable information is shared.
