Rock 'n Roll is a cool action/puzzle game by Rainbow Arts that adds a lot of nice touches to the roll-the-ball-to-the-exit norm of action/puzzle games. The Amiga game just rocks and is definitely a classic. The PC conversion has some drawbacks such as no scrolling (just screen-flipping), not that cool music and the EGA graphics just can't keep up with the Amiga game. Still, all the great features of the Amiga version are intact, including the ability to buy items (by rolling the ball over the appropriate symbol), switches (whose effects vary from level to level), ventilators, magnets, explosions, and numerous other challenging obstacles to tear your hair over.
Hazard Ball
In 2004, Chris Eastwood created great game based on the ideas of the Rock'n'Roll a lot. Some levels are very close to original Rock'n'roll levels, and it also offers possibility to uniquely control the ball using a mouse - as it was never seen from the times of real Rock'n'Roll! It's really worth of try, recommended by 10 of 10 Rock'n'roll fans :)

It was a surprise to see the scrolling background didn't have some form of parallax effects after the incredible number of hacker-type copper bar displays whizzing around the place. Parallax would make it just a shade more eye-catching.
But never mind, the important part of the game is the ear-catching part. The object is to collect - and I quote here - good old rock 'n roll records. There are several records on each level, and you are awarded one each time you can colour-match a group of tiles. As you pick the disks up, they start spinning on the Old Bang & Olufsen.
Hands up who likes Rock music! That many, huh? Well, imagine a place where there is no more rock and only classical music remains. Sounds pretty dull, doesn't it? This is the situation in Infogrames' latest 'jolly' offering - remember Bubble Ghost? Creaky old conductors rule the world of music with their dusty horns and creaky oboes, keeping lovers of rock music in a state of despair. But there is a solution...
Jumping Jack Son must travel through the strange dimension where the recording is kept, revealing and playing any other rock recordings he can find before the classical instruments destroy them. This is not as easy as it sounds, since the records are all hidden in zones built up of square platforms. Certain sections of the zones have to be turned to the same colour, by leaping on them, which makes a record appear. Jack can then pick it up and take it to the correspondingly-coloured record deck in order to set it playing, building up the tune with drums, bassline and harmony.
Jack can drop a limited supply of cassettes in front of his enemies to hold them at bay for a while, as well as picking up items along the way to help him. These include sleeping pills to put the instruments to bed, hard-man rock shades to scare them off or coloured Walkmen for magic powers such as invisibility.

This is a very attractive and enjoyable puzzle game in which you play a sort of London Philharmonic buster. As Jumping Jackson, rockstar extraordinaire, you have to revive the flagging spirit of 'rock and roll' by wiping out classical music and giving bass, drums and axe the airplay they deserve. What would Nigel Kennedy say?
The graphics are everything Amiga graphics should be. Cartoony, colourful and full of character. Add to that smooth scrolling and lots of cute little touches, like Jackson's end-of-level dance, and you have a great looking game, and one that is very playable. Sixteen levels is not really enough but, for what you have, Jumping Jackson is a very good product. A few more levels and this game would be terrific.
Imagine the music world with no Kylie Minogue, no Jason Donovan, and no New Kids On The Block (My Fave! - Sub Ed!). It might be most people's paradise but Jumping Jack Son is a bit peeved now that classical music has taken over and rock'n'roll is dead.
Jack is determined to save the few remaining rock records. On each level he jumps around square platforms, avoiding angry classical instruments. Certain squares change colour when jumped on: When a group of them is made all the same colour, a record appears for Jack to place on the relevantly coloured record player. Playing records gradually builds up a rock tune - when all the records are playing, Jack can teleport to the next level.
Unusually for a production house, Bitmap Brothers fancied themselves as a bit rock n roll; something of a precursor to Rockstar Games. Notoriously, they released a publicity shot where the company founders were posing next to a helicopter belonging to there then publisher Robert Maxwell.

The game restarts automatically, and displays ' Cheat Mode Activated '

Now, press the plus key on the numeric keypad.
The mantas and walrus' will be invulnerable except to crashing (low altitude).
Or try surrendering and press the + and - keys to cycle all through all
the objects in the game. When paused, pressing + and - on the numeric keypad toggles
Manta invincibility: the flying craft are no longer vulnerable to
aerial attack, although collision with large objects is still fatal.
Once a course has been programmed for the carrier, Mantas or
Walruses, engage autopilot and click on pause. To avoid sloggin
around inreal type, you will find that pressing 3 on the keypad and
unpausing again takes the corresponding craft directly to its
destination. Likewise, pausing and pressing 2 replaces lost
shielding, while tapping 1 refuels the craft in question.
9 shows the current difficulty level, 7 speeds up the game and
6 brings up the programmers' test palette!A lot in this excellent simulation. PAUSE the game and type
GROW OLD ALONG WITH ME then press + on the numeric keypad for your
mantas and walruses to become shielded. Press - to disable.Try pressing CTRL and M on the main screen for some interesting effects.HINT: Try always to cut of the path to the homebase (top right island) of
the enemy ship. It might get stuck without fuel and so buys you lot of time

tunnels(from The Noose) and wait an hour. Then leave the tunnels and go to
The Master's Eye. Wait around until The Master dies. Search his body for
the whistle. Use it and a panel will open up. Reach Inside and grab

Find a dragon and cast MON ZO GOR SAR and hit ESC to pause the game. Hold

It's _REALLY_ easy to kill _ANY_ dragon. Here's how.
1) Prepare all your players with MON IR VEN spells (mega poison cloud)
2) Use the green freeze life box (on the dragon)
3) Cast the spells, and then double up on each player
(ie. each player casts 2 spells for a total of 8)
4) Wait... dinner will be served soon.(hint #2)
Using the Vorpal Blade:
If you don't have both Vorpal Blades, you can increase #hits/time by
passing the weapon back and forth between the two attacking players.
(ie. hit -> pass blade to #2 -> hit -> pass back to #1 -> hit ->...(hint #3)
Contrary to what I've read on the net, everything is affected by
fireballs, including knights and dragons. The only exceptions are
slime, black flames, and the thing that pops up from the floor.

One can play easy mode and still access all the screens.
Here's what to do:
Select the hardest possible setting before starting the game,
this includes not only hard mode but also disabling that obnoxious
'flip screen' feature and choosing only three lives. Then click on the
'game' icon and do as if you were to start the game. When the
prompt bar says 'Click to play' instead choose the 'exit' icon and this
will bring you back to the startup menu. Now you can select the easy mode
and more lives and you will still be able to see all the screens assuming
you're deft of hand enough to get to them in easy mode. Hope this helps!

bishop is held captive. Before entering flick the write protect tab to
protect your disk. Then enter and free the bishop with the correct key.
He will give you experience points if you have won three fights of the same

Usually you have to shoot equipment boxes to get the laser sight, but
press F8 and fire at the same time on the title screen and you will
start a 1 player game with laser sight. For 2 players press F2 instead

plane will climb which is very annoying. By attacking from above you
drive the other plane down rather than up. BEING TAILED- When you are being tailed hold the joystick to the
bottom-right. You should turn off to the right and out of the other
