Rocco: Percentage Calculator (“Rocco”, “we”, “our”, or “the App”) is designed to provide useful calculation tools while collecting as little personal information as reasonably possible.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Rocco collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Rocco allows you to perform calculations including percentages, tax, tips, bill splitting, currency conversion, loans, savings, profit, ROI, stock profit, and other financial or everyday calculations.
Values you enter into calculators are processed for the purpose of producing the requested result.
Calculation values and calculation history stored by Rocco are stored locally on your device unless a specific feature explicitly states otherwise.
We do not require you to create an account to use Rocco.
We do not intentionally send the numbers you enter into calculators or your saved calculation history to our analytics provider.
Rocco uses PostHog to help us understand how the App is used and improve its features, performance, and usability.
Analytics information may include:
App version
Operating system and platform
General device and app information
App sessions
Screens or features used
Calculator types used
Interaction events
Feature usage
Purchase or paywall interaction events
Error and performance-related information
Rocco's analytics are intended to measure product usage rather than identify you personally.
We do not use analytics data to sell personal information or create advertising profiles.
PostHog processes analytics information on our behalf according to its own privacy and data-protection practices.
Rocco uses the Frankfurter API to retrieve currency exchange-rate information.
When using currency conversion features, Rocco may communicate with the Frankfurter service to request current or historical exchange-rate information.
Rocco does not send your calculation history or unrelated calculator data to Frankfurter.
As with most internet services, the service provider may receive technical information required to process a network request, such as your IP address.
Exchange rates are provided for informational purposes and may differ from rates offered by banks, payment providers, credit-card companies, currency exchanges, or financial institutions.
Rocco may offer premium features through:
Monthly subscriptions
Yearly subscriptions
Lifetime purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive or store your credit-card number, bank information, or Apple Account password.
Apple may provide the App with transaction and entitlement information necessary to determine whether Premium features should be available to you.
Apple's handling of payment information is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not rent your personal information to third parties.
We do not use your calculator data for advertising.
Rocco does not currently operate a third-party advertising network inside the App.
Certain Rocco information may be stored directly on your device, including settings, preferences, favorites, and calculation history.
You can remove locally stored information by using available deletion or clearing options inside Rocco where provided.
Deleting Rocco from your device generally removes information stored locally by the App, subject to Apple's operating-system and backup behavior.
Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it, clear it through the App, or uninstall the App, subject to device backups and operating-system behavior.
Analytics information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to understand App usage, diagnose problems, improve Rocco, and maintain aggregate historical statistics.
Where reasonably possible, analytics information that is no longer required may be deleted or anonymized.
Because Rocco does not require an account, we generally do not maintain an account profile associated with your identity.
You can delete locally stored calculation history through Rocco where deletion controls are available, or remove local App data by uninstalling the App.

We may need limited information from you to determine whether data associated with your request can reasonably be identified.
Depending on your device, operating system, region, and version of Rocco, you may have controls relating to analytics, permissions, or other privacy features.
You may also stop future App data collection by uninstalling Rocco.
Permissions requested by Rocco can generally be reviewed or changed through Apple's Settings or System Settings applications.
Rocco currently relies on third-party services including:
Apple — App distribution, purchases, subscriptions, and related platform services
PostHog — product analytics
Frankfurter — currency exchange-rate data
These companies may process limited information according to their respective privacy policies.
We expect service providers processing information on our behalf to provide appropriate protections for that information.
Rocco is a general-purpose calculation utility and is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling purposes.

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by Rocco.
However, no application, device, network transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Third-party services used by Rocco may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used by the relevant service providers for international data transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Rocco changes, when our third-party services change, or when legal or regulatory requirements change.
The updated version will include a revised “Last updated” date.
Material changes may also be communicated through the App where appropriate.
