Rocco: Focus (“Rocco”, the “App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is designed to help you focus, manage work and break sessions, reduce distractions, practice guided breathing, and understand your focus activity while collecting as little personal information as reasonably necessary.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Rocco: Focus collects or processes, why it is processed, how it is used, and the choices and rights available to you.
Rocco: Focus is operated by:
Stefan Petrovic
Serbia
Email: cwbngakd.develop@gmail.com
For applicable data-protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) where it applies, Stefan Petrovic is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with Rocco: Focus, except where another service provider acts as an independent controller under its own terms.
Rocco: Focus stores most of its core productivity information locally on your device.
Depending on the features you use, this may include:
Focus sessions
Focus intentions
Session start and completion information
Completed or interrupted sessions
Focus history
Daily and weekly statistics
Streak information
Breathing exercise history
Timer and break preferences
Theme and appearance preferences
Notification preferences
Focus Blocker settings
Commit Mode settings
Widget state
Other App settings
This information is used to provide Rocco: Focus functionality.
Rocco: Focus does not require you to create an account.
Deleting the App generally removes locally stored Rocco: Focus information, subject to Apple’s operating-system, backup, and device-restoration behavior.
Rocco: Focus may allow you to enter a short intention describing what you want to focus on during a session.
Focus intentions are stored locally as part of your focus-session information.
You should avoid entering sensitive personal information, passwords, financial information, health information, confidential records, or security credentials in a focus intention.
We do not intentionally send the text of your focus intentions to PostHog or other analytics services.
Rocco: Focus may store and calculate information relating to:
Focus time
Completed sessions
Interrupted sessions
Session counts
Weekly activity
Focus history
Streaks
Other productivity summaries
This information is primarily stored locally and is used to provide progress and history features inside the App.
We do not use your focus history or streak information for third-party advertising.
Rocco: Focus includes an optional Focus Blocker feature that allows you to restrict access to selected apps, app categories, or websites during focus sessions.
This feature uses Apple technologies including:
Family Controls
Managed Settings
Device Activity
Related Screen Time frameworks
Before Focus Blocker can be used, you must grant the required authorization through Apple’s system interface.
You choose which apps, categories, or websites you want to restrict using Apple’s Family Activity Picker.
Apple’s Family Controls framework provides privacy-preserving identifiers or tokens instead of giving Rocco unrestricted access to your complete app-usage information.
Rocco uses those selections only to provide the blocking functionality you request.
Focus Blocker configuration may be stored locally on your device and, where required for App extensions, in Rocco’s private App Group storage.
We do not intentionally send to PostHog:
The specific apps you select
The categories you select
The websites or web domains you select
Family Controls tokens
Managed Settings tokens
Blocked-app identities
Your Screen Time history
Your browsing history
Using Focus Blocker does not give Rocco unrestricted access to your messages, communications, browsing history, or the contents of other applications.
You may modify your Focus Blocker selections or revoke applicable authorization through Rocco: Focus or Apple’s system settings.
When Focus Blocker is active, iOS may display a custom Rocco: Focus shield when you attempt to access a selected app or website.
The shield is provided using Apple’s Managed Settings technology and may contain Rocco branding, explanatory text, or artwork.
The shield is used only to provide the Focus Blocker functionality you requested.
Rocco: Focus may provide an optional Commit Mode designed to add extra friction when you attempt to end a focus session early.
Commit Mode settings and temporary state may be stored locally on your device.
Rocco may record general analytics indicating that Commit Mode was enabled or that a commitment-related action was used.
Analytics are not intended to record private content associated with your focus session.
Rocco: Focus includes guided breathing exercises.
The App may locally process information such as:
Exercise timing
Completion state
Number of completed exercises
Breathing progress
Rocco does not use breathing exercises to diagnose, monitor, or treat medical conditions.
We do not intentionally collect health or medical information through the breathing feature.
Analytics may record general events such as whether a breathing exercise was started or completed, but are not intended to include health information.
Rocco: Focus may request permission to send notifications.
Notifications may be used for purposes including:
Focus-session completion
Break completion
Focus reminders
Breathing reminders
Other timer-related functionality
Notification permission is controlled by iOS.
You may change notification permissions through Apple’s Settings app.
We do not intentionally send notification title or body content to PostHog analytics.
Rocco: Focus may use Apple’s Live Activities and Dynamic Island to display active-session information outside the App.
Displayed information may include:
Remaining time
Timer state
Focus or break status
Progress information
Live Activity information is used to provide timer-related functionality.
Rocco may record general analytics indicating that a Live Activity was opened or used, without sending private focus content.
Rocco: Focus may provide Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.
Widgets may display information such as:
Focus time
Number of sessions
Streak information
Motivational content
Other limited progress information
Information required by widgets may be stored in Rocco’s private App Group container so the App and its extensions can share the necessary state.
Rocco may record general information about widget type, widget family, or widget interactions for product analytics.
Rocco: Focus may provide optional ambient sounds, completion sounds, and other audio features.
Audio preferences may be stored locally.
Bundled Rocco audio is played locally by the App.
Rocco does not use your microphone for normal focus timers, breathing exercises, ambient audio, or completion sounds.
If a future feature requires microphone access, this Privacy Policy and applicable permission disclosures will be updated.
Rocco: Focus may offer:
Monthly subscriptions
Yearly subscriptions
Lifetime Premium purchases
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive or store your credit-card number, bank-account details, or Apple Account password.
Rocco also uses RevenueCat to manage purchases, subscription status, and Premium entitlements.
Depending on the RevenueCat configuration and App Store transaction, RevenueCat may process information including:
An anonymous App User ID
App and platform information
App Store transaction information
Purchase receipts or transaction identifiers
Subscription status
Premium entitlement status
Product and purchase information
This information is used to determine whether Premium functionality should be available and to help understand purchase performance.
RevenueCat processes information according to its own privacy and data-protection practices.
Rocco: Focus uses PostHog to understand how the App is used and to improve functionality, usability, reliability, and performance.
Rocco uses explicit product analytics rather than automatically recording all user activity.

Preventing abuse
Improving Premium conversion and product performance
We seek to limit this processing to information reasonably necessary for those purposes.
We may process information where necessary to comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, or consumer-protection obligations.

Rocco currently contains no third-party advertising.
We do not use focus history, focus intentions, breathing activity, or Focus Blocker selections for advertising.

Some Rocco features need to share limited information between the main App and Rocco’s own extensions.
This may include functionality related to:
Widgets
Focus Blocker
Shield extensions
Device Activity
Other Apple extension-based functionality
For this purpose, limited data may be stored in a private App Group container associated with Rocco: Focus.
This storage is used only so Rocco’s own App and extensions can work together.
Information stored locally remains on your device until:
You delete it through available App controls
It is replaced or removed as part of normal App functionality
You uninstall Rocco: Focus
This is subject to Apple’s backup, restoration, and operating-system behavior.
After that period, analytics data may be deleted or otherwise handled according to the configured PostHog retention settings.
Purchase and subscription information may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their respective retention requirements, contractual obligations, and applicable law.
We may retain limited information longer where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

As a result, information processed through services such as PostHog or RevenueCat may be transferred to or processed in countries other than the country where you live.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers of personal data, appropriate transfer mechanisms or contractual safeguards are used.
Third-party providers may also process information according to their own privacy policies, data-processing agreements, and applicable legal obligations.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal data.
These may include the right to:
Request access to personal data relating to you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of personal data
Request restriction of processing
Object to certain processing
Receive certain personal data in a portable format

Permissions can generally be reviewed or changed through Apple’s Settings application.
Family Controls authorization may be changed or revoked through applicable Apple system controls.
You may stop future App-related processing by uninstalling Rocco: Focus, although third-party providers may retain previously processed information as described in this Policy and their own applicable policies.

We do not knowingly use children’s personal information for advertising or profiling.
Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for the processing of a younger user’s personal data, Rocco should only be used with the legally required consent.
