I recently got a new iMac and transferred over Affinity Publisher. I am using the same template that I used on my old iMac; however, the fonts do not look the same in the Affinity document compared to the exported document. See the screen shot document (screen shot from my Affinity page) compared to the pdf attachment. The pdf does not retain the bold font in the questions and the other headings, etc (name, school, 2021, etc) do not look as "thick" as the affinity document screen shot. I've exported both a small size pdf file and a pdf for print - both look the same. What can I do to fix this?

The font I was trying to use was actually Signika (bold/light). I got a new iMac and installed Affinity and Signika on it so I could use the same font as I did with this template on my old computer. I really appreciate the help!

Easiest way is often to just check the ttf-roboto-slab AUR webpage. The page shows that the package is required by 2 other AUR packages, and is an optional requirement for the AUR package pop-gtk-theme-git. I believe that, by definition, an AUR package cannot be a requirement for a regular repo package, so this list omits that ttf-roboto-slab is an optional dependency of pop-gtk-theme.

I was writing some documents, using the font Roboto Slab It was going good. But yesterday it was not exporting bold fonts on the PDF or Print (Bold characters appear as normal characters in the output), I also have noticed that it is only happening in Linux, Not in WINDOWS

However, what it gives me is plain Roboto. If I change the "Condensed" one to use font-family "Roboto Condensed" it works ... and that makes sense because apparently chrome is late to adopt font-stretch. However, changing the font-family to "roboto condensed" doesn't use the lighter font-weight (which is 300), it stays at 400. Even if I change the font-weight to 300, which it specifically has, it will remain at 400 (switching in the console between 200, 300 and 400 has no effect at all). I have to put "Roboto Condensed Light" specifically, to get the light font-weight.
