We are very grateful to our sponsors for helping make this workshop a reality.
For this workshop, we are partnering with Scaleup Robotics AB (scaleuprobotics.com), a Swedish cloud robotics startup pioneering remotely accessible robotics solutions for education and research. The team from Scaleup Robotics will lead our morning "Cloud Robotics Tutorial with Scaleup Robotics" session during which participants will be able to program live robot arms located in Sweden and learn more about cloud robotics and the state of the art in robotic manipulation.
We are a group of researchers and industry professionals who are passionate about strengthening African expertise in AI and robotics. Our mission is to build an active community of robotics and machine learning practitioners with the skills to develop practical and sustainable solutions for addressing key societal issues on the African continent. Through this workshop, we hope to introduce robotics to the curious, spark collaborations, and provide opportunities for sharing knowledge and resources.
