About Us

The Robot Foundation is one of the four core pillars of the Robot Organization, a nonprofit global alliance dedicated to advancing the robotics industry through innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.

The Robot Foundation focuses on establishing global standards for compatibility and fostering innovation through initiatives such as the development of Robot Ware 1.0/2.0 with Sandbox projects (Robot Officer, Robot Ranger, and Robot Rescuer) to exemplify its commitment in creating open standards that reduce redundancies and improve collaboration.

Other core pillars of the Robot Organization are:

- Robot Association: Connecting professionals, enthusiasts, and stakeholders via a farm-out membership program and initiatives like Robot Roadshow, which brings together global robotics communities to exchange ideas and build partnerships.

- Robot Institute: Advancing education, research, and thought leadership by providing platforms for certification, training, and public engagement. It empowers innovators, engineers, and users to thrive within a cohesive robotics ecosystem.

- Robot Society: Cultivating cultural and societal appreciation for robotics through public events such as Robot Show, Robot TV, and the Robot Ambassador program. These initiatives aim to engage communities and foster a deeper understanding of robotics' role in society.

The Robot Foundation also celebrates excellence and innovation through Robot Award and Robot Prize, which recognize practical breakthroughs and aspirational achievements in robotics. Additionally, global events like the Robot World Fair and Robot World EXPO showcase advancements and establish lasting infrastructure for robotics development worldwide.

Together, these pillars unite stakeholders from every corner of the world, shaping the future of robotics through a shared commitment to creativity, safety, and sustainability.
