Taijiquan Lineage and Instruction

Today, Anthony's primary focus is Chen Style and Hunyuan Style Taijiquan.

He is a certified professional instructor under Grandmaster Wong Waiyi (Tony Wong) of the American Chen Taiji Society. Grandmaster Wong is a lifelong martial artist, an official 20th-generation lineage holder under the late Grandmaster Chen Qingzhou, and a Xinjia disciple of Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang.

Through decades of study under several renowned Chinese martial arts masters, Grandmaster Wong has developed a deep understanding of Chen Family Taijiquan, Hun Yuan Taiji, Qigong, and related internal martial arts traditions. Over many years of training, Grandmaster Wong has generously shared his knowledge, experience, and insights into both the martial and personal aspects of Taijiquan. Anthony remains deeply grateful for his guidance and strives to honor that instruction through continued study, practice, and teaching.

Inspired by Grandmaster Wong's commitment to preserving and sharing traditional Chen Taijiquan, Anthony views martial arts as a lifelong practice of self-improvement, discipline, and service to others. His goal is to continue deepening his understanding of the art and to pass that knowledge on to future generations.

Teaching Philosophy

Through more than three decades of training, competition, and study, Anthony has developed a teaching approach that balances traditional principles with practical application. His instruction emphasizes:
