Rob Leis, a graduate of Leadership Columbus 2023, champions equity and support for marginalized communities through his extensive work with public institutions. As founder of Stonewall Sports - Columbus Chapter in 2017, he led the organization as President until 2020 while simultaneously serving on the National Board for five years, helping expand the organization's reach to 26 chapters nationwide.
Following his fellowship with New Leaders Council - Columbus in 2019, Rob joined their Board of Directors, where he guided Fellows Selection as Chair for three program years and served as National Program Committee Selections Co-Chair. His commitment to LGBTQ+ advocacy extends to board positions with Kaleidoscope Youth Center and, most recently, It Gets Better.
Originally from Kansas, Rob has made Columbus, Ohio his home since 2017. In 2021 he and his partner purchased a home in the South of Main neighborhood. He currently works as a Senior Program Manager at NetJets, the world's largest aircraft operator.
