I am an Associate Professor of Public Economics at the Department of Economics and Statistics "Cognetti de Martiis" at the University of Torino.
I received a PhD in Public Economics from the University of Salerno and an MSc in Public Economics from the University of York.
I am a member of the Interuniversity Research Centre on Local and Regional Finance (CIFREL) and a faculty member of the PhD in Innovation for the Circular Economy (University of Torino). I have been an Associate Editor of the Elsevier journal Socio-Economic Planning Sciences for 2018-2022.
I’m an applied economist studying how fiscal institutions, political behavior, and demographic dynamics shape local economic outcomes. My research focuses on fiscal federalism, tax competition, voting, the political effects of immigration, and the role of universities in regional development.
