About
I am a researcher, professor, and consultant in strategic management. My entire career has revolved around these three identities. Nevertheless, I believe that being a university professor defines me the most - I am a full professor at IAE Business School at Universidad Austral.
I have dedicated my life to understanding the intersection between economics and business. My undergrad and first grad studies were in economics, but my work slowly shifted to business, a field to which I dedicated my doctorate. Therefore, one of my passions is to understand how companies can emerge stronger from recessions.
During the last decade, I became curious about the high failure rates of strategic planning exercises. My introduction to adaptive leadership has led me to explore a whole field of work, explaining these rates and proposing ways to improve them.
As you may have noticed, a significant portion of my work is in Spanish. That's why, on this page, I jump from one language to the other, depending on the material.
